Is adopting a child a hard thing to do ? is it a long process?

im 17 right now and my boyfriend is 17 too. he wants me to give him a baby when im older ofcourse and married with him. but i dont want to have kids i want to adopt 1. and i already talked to him and he said its ok with it .... so i just wanna knwo is it hard to adop 1 .

  2. It really depends on a lot of things- where the child is coming from, the child's age, etc.  On average you're talking about at least a year.  Sucks, but compared to nine months of pregnancy, not terrible.

  3. I live in North carolina and I am adopting my son through Social Services and besides the hoem studies and the making it through the appeals from his Birth Mother it is relativley easy

  4. yes, its a lonngg process. it could take up to a year until u get the kid in ur house.

  5. i hear its easyer to adopt from outside the contry than in the US also its alot easyer to adopt and older child than a infant because babies are more wanted
