Is advanced algebra algebra 2 or not I'm really confused?

Question

So now I'm a sophomore and I thought I was supposed to be in Algebra 2 but I'm not is it the same class or am I dumb or is a higher class and put into a lower class. Please help thank you.

Look at it this way -- I took math 94 (algebra) and bypassed 98 in college admissions test and went to 119 (pre-calculus I) and later took 120 (pre-calc II). Now I will take 124-126 calculus series. Check the class number. In high school its probably below 100 level.

yes i would ask because it could just be another algebra class that moves at a faster pace then regular algebra or it could be algebra2.

I would talk to the teachers and ask them. Sometimes "smart" and  "average" people are put into the same class...I would know, it happened in my school.
