  1. no people are just getting injured more because the grounds are harder. they are getting harder as a concerquence of the lack of rain.

  2. Yes it is now compaired to the past.

According to sports tonight, AFL was named the most dangerous sport in Australia.

  3. Definately. Before you had to be fit, now these so called full time professionals do power weights etc etc and look like entrants in a Mr Universe title. If you could get the actual statistics I think you will find the injuries are more severe and last longer since the 50's, 60's and 70's.

  4. for the soft tissue damage yes but i think the injuries will get less and less as players adjust to the changes

  5. Are u more g*y now than u were in the past? And it wasn't in the past!

  6. I would have to say its around the same because they r protecting the head now and some other rules have changed

  7. the problem is that players are playing injured and having coirtizone injections to kill the pain, but not curing the injury

how many players have had reconstructions of knees, shoulders ankles etc at such an early age.

their bodies are going to be knakerd by the time they are 40

    afl is stupid anyway

  8. no way some bad injuries still happen but the afl has gone a bit far with its cleaning up the game

footy was so much more dangerous in the 60 to 80's years
