  1. The observed phenomena which imply the presence of dark matter include the rotational speeds of galaxies, orbital velocities of galaxies in clusters, gravitational lensing of background objects by galaxy clusters such as the Bullet cluster, and the temperature distribution of hot gas in galaxies and clusters of galaxies. Dark matter also plays a central role in structure formation and galaxy evolution, and has measurable effects on the anisotropy of the cosmic microwave background. All these lines of evidence suggest that galaxies, clusters of galaxies, and the universe as a whole contain far more matter than that which interacts with electromagnetic radiation: the remainder is called the "dark matter component."

In simple terms no, it's not, between earth and space there is different types of components if you please, for example, it's like asking if gravitation exists...it does, just not in space, because somewhere along the line, gravitation disintergrates if you like.

  2. how many hours have you wasted now looking for this?

  3. No

  4. No, air is made up of ordinary matter.

  5. not dark matter is matter that is holding the, galaxies from colapsing

  6. Definitely not!

  7. No.  All the stuff that air is made out of is detectable when it's in space.  Dark matter is not.

  8. ...no...

air (at least in the Earth's atmosphere) is a mixture of gaseous components,

in fact the exact composition is as follows:

    nitrogen: 78.09%

    oxygen: 20.95%

    argon: 0.93%

    carbon dioxide: 0.03%

    other gasses: 0.002%
