Is airport departure in England the same as in the states?

Yeah, it's the same... except if you're going to Gatwick, I have to tell you one piece of information: you could only bring one carry-on and NO purse!! I had to stuff my purse into my already-stuffed luggage, which was a hassle.

airport departure is pretty much the same the world over ... there's very slight cultural differences between one country and another, but not enough to bother about
