I get the feeling you were trying to be clever about scientists drinking, but the fact is that beer production produces a lot of co2 much of which is used by the softdrink industry and distilled alcohol use a lot of energy which also produces co2 so the answer would be yes, in a small way, compared to coal & cars but yes.

Well over consumption of beverages containing ethanol could possibly lead to misinterpretation of scientific data leading to the publishing of charts and graphs showing excessive warming when there really was none. So yes inappropriate usage of various forms of alcohol could lead to apparent global warming evidence where there really was none. Of course after recovering they would never admit their errors of judgement while impaired and so would go into defense mode!

Maybe Gore and Hansen were after work companions of Teddy Kennedy, I understand that Hansen spent a lot of after work time with Gore and that Gore and Kennedy have always been close friends and so has Obama been!

Even me a reason for global warming not directly but in directly!!. See my friend, even at the period of Industrialisation scientists see the symptoms of global warming, as the answer to your question I would say *yes* cos for many reasons, to make alchochol it requires energy it causes Global warming as a direct reason, other indirect reasons chemicals, rawmetirial etc..

Me for example avoid as much of usage of plastic items as I can, and alchohol never!!! I wish to walk even if I have motorbike but sometimes but in  this fast world I've to depend on it!!
