Is alcohol bad for my complexion?

I drink 3-6 Miller Lite's daily.

because it de-hydrates you

it dries out your skin

therefore it can give you dry skin

spots

and acne

Just look at an alcoholic's face!  They usually have red veins on their noses and blotchy skin.  Psoriasis of the face is common too.  This is caused by liver problems which in turn are caused by alcohol.

I drink more than that and it hasn't changed my complexion any. I love Miller Lite.

I would say that alcohol is not bad for your complexion. While the mention that alcohol does dehydrate you, it is common in most places outside of N. America to have a couple glasses of wine or beer with every meal.

And, as they say, everything in moderation, just eat healthy, drink water (and beer!) and exercise.
