Alcohol is legal, yet cannabis isn't. Isn't alcohol more dangerous, though? That's what blogger Andrew Sullivan claims in his criticisms of the War on Drugs. Is it true? Is alcohol really more dangerous? And if it's that dangerous then why is it legal...

  1. Cannabis was a lot less dangerous before the war on drugs...

now smoking it can lead to years in prison, employment blacklisting, social out-casting, and playing god by trying to regulate a naturally occurring plant.

Alcohol in it's bottle form is not so natural. sure fruit gets rotten and produces alcohol, but who eats rotten fruit? Whinos! that's who! lolz

Alcohol affects every body system, causing a wide range of health problems. Problems include poor nutrition, memory disorders, difficulty with balance and walking, liver disease (including cirrhosis and hepatitis), high blood pressure, muscle weakness (including the heart), heart rhythm disturbances, anemia, clotting disorders, decreased immunity to infections, gastrointestinal inflammation and irritation, acute and chronic problems with the pancreas, low blood sugar, high blood fat content, interference with reproductive fertility, and weakened bones.

Cannabis assists with inflammation and pain, helps curb anxiety and stress, stimulates appetite, helps with sleep, reduces muscle spasms, among other things.
