Is all art entertainment?

should all entertainment be considered art if it has no substances. Is it still art???

No, but all entertainment is art. Some "art" is not entertaining.

I think they are two different animals all together.  I feel that if it evokes a response in the way of profound thought then it is art but not necessarilly entertainment.  I have watched tv and movies which didn't evoke anything more than the thought that I just lost two hours of my life that I'll never get back.  I find myself watching less and less of both these days.  Art stays with me much longer anyway.  I can't remember that last time I watched a movie that caused me to actually think about its impact on my life.

Two words where the person has multiple definitions for each.  What is art?  What is considered entertainment?  I don't find art entertaining per say like motion pictures or music or something like that.  It's just something to consider.  

Now, I think this mainly apply to visual art but certain forms of performance art can still be more for your consideration than for the sake of entertaining.  

"Art" has such fuzzy lines and they seem to be getting fuzzier and fuzzier everyday with all of these new mediums.  But for the sake of the question, no, not all art is entertaining.

Not all jokes are funny. Not all books are worth reading. Producing and creating are two different things. It could hang on the wall and still not be art.

What is ART?  Art is an interpretation of performance in craft, creation, drawing, music, play, drama, dance, ETC...etc...etc. to display for others to appreciate or comment or Criticise

What is ENTERTAINMENT?  When you enjoy it, like it, appreciate it and get happiness, its entertainment.
