  1. "Global warming" is really a misnomer.    It's not necessarily going to get warmer everywhere - - - some places will get colder, some windier, some less windy, some rainier, some less rainy, etc.....    It's really called "climate change."

(Of course, as you may suspect, the climate has never stood still and this is just a way to enable them to blame civilization for ANY bad weather without having to predict squat - but you have to admire their creativity!).

  2. I don't know where you are but What cold weather?

  3. No, we're actually plunging into a Great Ice Age that will spell the extinction of mankind. Repent, the end is near.

  4. omg please tell me where you are so i can come soak up some cold weather lol it's like 90 F here...

and i think so. we had a mcshitty winter here, ice storms and snow storms and this is by far the hottest summer we've had, it's also been one of the worst weather wise, tornadoes and thunderstoms all over...

    it's global warming i think...

  5. Well, cold weather and hot weather dont exactly make a good couple. They form hurricanes, tornadoes, and other tropical storms. If hot weather is to come after the cold weather, as of a few days or weeks, i think it might spell catastrophe. The weather is a strange thing, but right now, it gets even stranger. Some days, it might be sunny, then all of a sudden, clouds. Yeah, lots of them.

So i think the heat wont come that soon or else some weather forcast teams should've picked it up by now.

  6. NOPE!! its gonna p**s it down all summer like last year.

i suggest get used to it, or emigrate to somewhere sunny!

  7. Sure it is! My spouse and I argue about it all the time. I thought it was warmer last year. She says it was colder last year.  So brace for warmer weather next year.

I'm sure you can always find a lot of folks that will agree with you about weather (and disagree)

  8. What cold weather? We have had record highs for most of the last month here in Austin.

  9. In my opinion, it's the beginning of El Nino-- the weather phenomenon that happens every couple of years. Unfortunately, there isn't much evidence to prove it yet,but that's just what I think.

  10. indicate where you live. It's hot here!

  11. What cold weather we didn't see much in the southern hemisphere in spite of some mountain snow yesterday Victoria, Australia had a warm June (mid winter) with temperatures 1.5c above average

  12. No, it's just part of the weather's usual variability.  If they can't predict the weather for next month, what makes you think they can predict the weather for the next 10 or 50 years?  Global warming is the biggest scam of this century!

  13. Global Warming isn't really as it sounds in Really hot weather. Its the earth's average temp rising a few degrees. One degree can shift us into completely losing the Ice Caps, 2-lakes and rivers dry up, etc and going 2 degrees colder leads us into another Ice Age. The affects we are feeling are more drastic changes in temp. Warmer, dryer summers, harsher colder winters. The cold weather now when it should be warm will be replaced b/c of jet streams shifting and winter will be warmer than usual. Hope it makes sense! Do you part, be GREEN!

  14. Nahh... I don't really care... I have AC and decent heating so I'm good as long as the budget remains sustainable.

  15. Some people believe that there is "Global Warming" and that we are affecting the climate of the earth.

Back in the '70's sometime there was a thought that our globe was cooling.

Both theories, Global warming and global cooling were backed by scientific fact.  Green house gasses would cause both a "warming" and a "cooling" so the experts would say.

The only facts are that we know less about what's going on about the weather than a pig knows about Sunday.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over any answer.  Chances are excellent that we know nothing of what we're talking about.   It makes interesting news though.
