Maybe not soon enough but NOW is always a good time .. generations could benefit from what we do now. It's no good blaming past generations either, technology has only recently brought things to light and the actions we should be taking.

I do think however that if it's good for the goose .... y'know. All nations and ALL classes of people should be doing it. I bet the world leaders dont rinse out their empties. It's our world now, our childrens world soon, let's try what we can to make sure they inherit a world that's been well looked after. I'm positive they'll make us proud by learning from our mistakes.

You mean especially when local authorities club together to ship all the recycling they collect to China?

I think if it is to be done then it needs to be done now... United around the world. Councils need to take action and sort the recycling properly. There are always buyers for the stuff they collect, as they say one mans trash is another mans rtreasure.

yeah in my eyes defo. I have been reading up on this l8ly and one guy has this theory that planet earth is a living organism. Basically humans are the disease and we are killing it, when global warming reaches the point where the ice caps do completley melt then all the natural disasters will begin, basically planet earth is trying one last time to get rid of as many of us as it can therefor reducing all the pollution that us wastefull humans create!Still, do your bit and you never know

recycling- no, not in terms of the fact that when we run out of everything, we wont stop needing it, so its good that we have or are getting into the swing of it, becasue before it all runs out, it will become more and more expensive, recyled stuff will be chaper by far- and the more we car recycle, the cheaper it will be in comparison to things that are not recycled, if we dont build up a little recycling empire where we are not only used to doing it, but have the systems set up and in place, then we are truely screwed.

But if your talking in terms of cutting down pollution and greenhouse gases then yes, if thats all we are doing, it is too little too late.

probably recycling is good but not if it takes more energy to just get rid of it, better to crush it, burn it and bury it.

Quite probably..but I still do my part in recycling, plastic, aluminium, glass, paper, energy etc..(and I`m sure I`ll never live to reap any benefits from this...if any, but I have children and grandchildren)

It's unneeded.  If thing were packaged correctly there would just be clean waste.
