Seriously...Ya'll are saying the Angels are underrated but you don't realize that just about everyone else is talking about them too. Underrated? I think not. I have nothing against the Angels, but it is seriously too early to start saying they are going to win the World Series. But do you agree that the Angels may be becoming a bit overrated now?

  1. Not really because i don't let it get to me i can see the Angels are a good team

  2. dude...i totally agree with you...everyone keeps talking bout the angels...and they keep asking stupid questions like are they legit?...or like...will they go and win the ws?...its getting really annoying ppl...the smae question over and over and over again ><...to answer some ppll questions...YES THE ANGELS ARE THE BEST TEAM...right now ;D...AND THEY WILL WIN THEIR DIVISION...THEY WILL WIN HOME FIELD...BBUUUTTT they wont get to the world serioes cause the Red Sox will find a way to stop them =]

  3. They're a great team. Definatelly not overrated.

By the way I'm a Red Sox fan not an Angels fan.

  4. yeah maybe a little bit but it is nowhere near as annoying as when they go off about the bosox and the yanks.

  5. No there COOL

  6. First off the reason why they were considered underrated, is because most media outlets like to glamorize the East, weather it be NL or AL. By the time papers are put to bed in the East, games are still going on in the west. For the longest there have been an East Coast bias, especially with ESPN, the Eastern Seaboard Programming Network.

I have been an Angel fan for many years, and to see the GM make a trade that should push the Angels into winning the Series, let alone just making the playoffs, it is creating the buzz never seen before, even including the 2002 season.

No, I am not a bandwagoner. I have had my heart broken by the 1986 Donnie Moore debacle and the Randy Johnson gem of 1995...

  7. well, not really.. more taken aback than annoyed. They have always been a quiet ballclub in my opinion never really concerned if the media/others thinks highly of them or not. Its strange to see people saying that they might win the WS or something haha. i am a big angel fan but i agree one shouldn't be cocky at all. That is something i totally disagree with! I just say that the angels should stay consistent and humble :)

  8. The Angels are a great all around team & may not get much air time as say Boston or New York but I think they are the team to beat once the play offs start & just because they have the best record doesn't mean the do win the World Series & I wouldn't mind if they did but they have been beaten in the play offs in past recent years but can this year's team get past the play off & into the WS, time will tell & I wish them luck but best record in baseball doesn't always mean a WS appearance, ask the Seattle Mariners when they won what, 116 games a few years back.

  9. No, not too much. They are awfully good and the west coast teams really don't have near the coverage that Boston and New York gets. It kind of evens things up to have them touted.

  10. Not annoying because its the first time in awhile the Angels actually have gotten some hype. They have been underrated, and now all a sudden theyre a favorite for the world series, they can't just be overrated now.  Its like the first time they've been picked to be in the world series in a very long time. It's just theyre year and time.
