  1. Most Americans have the right to be silent, just not the ability.  Some got in their heads that the CIA wanting to listen to persons talking to bad guys, somehow ruins their pathetic life style.

  2. McCain Feingold was an assault on the constitution it was a law that affected a constitutional right of free speech w/o due process of an amendment.

  3. Attempting to physically damage the historical document, would probably land you in a heap o' trouble.   And could be considered an act of terrorism, but generally terrorism is something you do to people.

Attempting to add an amendment to the constitution requires a lot of work, but it has been done before.  I would not consider a legal change to the constitution an act of terrorism.

  4. Not if it's done in a Constitutional manor.  It's been done before with amendments.

  5. There are a lot of women voters that would be upset to learn that their right to vote (as a result of an amendment to the constitution) was an act of terrorism.  Yoiks!

And while defacing an original copy of the consititution is certainly a crime, I wouldn't even consider it treason.  Certainly not terrorism.

Who would be terrorized by that?  Calligraphers?  Museum curators?  Important documents?
