The rides are excellent yes, but if you go on a weekend then the queing is terrible! The rides are still open if it rains a little but standing in the queue when it rains is depressing! lol.

The best ride that is worth the wait is Nemesis. It is excellent!

Yes it is really good. If you don't want to Que then you can buy a fast past and if you don't want to pay to get into the park then you can use Tesco Vouchers. My dad used them and then bought the fast passes and we skipped hours ofQueing. You also get on the ride before everyone else.

It is fine to go in April and it is still good when it rains and if its busy then use the fast passes and you will miss nearly the whole Que.

Alton Towers is mint

I went when it was raining and there was less people

The most I qued for was about half an hour but it was on a Bank Holiday monday

I love Alton Towers and love the rides

Worth it in my opinion

Check the weather forecasts before you GO~,

And to make sure that you or your famiy or your friends are safe with mobile phones and other belongings, there are many thiefs out there trying to pick-a-pocketas the people who visits the aLtoN tOwERs . . .

iT'S Always busY but iN some part of the park isn't,

I've been there about 3 to 4 years ago, and it wasn't bad, it's not really eco=friendly though...although it looks like it....

If you don't mind queueing for an hour for each ride in Yankee style zig zag queues, and you don't mind getting mugged by yankee style price hikes every year and you don't mind parting with loadsamoney, then yeah, I suppose Alton Towers is okay.

I wouldn't go during the holidays or on a weekend, it can get REALLY busy.

I once queued for the ride'Air', for exactly 1 hour, and the ride itself lasted exactly 1 minute!

Not worth it

If you really want to go i would suggest you went on a schoolday!

It's great out-of-season, when the queues are short.  Go on a weekday when the schools aren't on holiday.  I do that most years, and you can even get on Nemesis without any queue.

As soon as you finish the ride, go around to the entrance and ride again! Fantastic.

I recommend the same off-peak choice for Blackpool Pleasure Beach too.

I love Nemesis!  That's brill.  If you like rides, then for sure, it's good.  I think if you've been to America, then all our rides are probably tame in comparison, but they're as good as you get in England really.  Go on the water rides for hours if it rains!  You're wet anyway, and you don't need to queue.

You will spend a lot of time queueing at any theme park.  It's a given.  April is fine, far less busy than the summer, but beware of the Easter Holidays, or you'll get school kid crowds to contend with also.
