  1. No, it is among the healthiest. The answer, using both death rate per thousand and life expectancy, Swaziland is the unhealthiest and the United States among the healthiest.  If you look at the map on www.worldlifeexpectancy.com, you will find that all of Japan, North America, the Southern part of South America, western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and much of the middle east are the healthiest countries, and the mid to southern part of Africa the unhealthiest.

    Encarta

Using the criterion of death rate per thousand population:

Worst:  Swaziland - 30.4 per thousand

Best:  United Arab Emirates - 2.2 per thousand

United States - 8.3 per thousand

    Using life expectancy:

    Best:  Japan - 82

    United States - 78

    Worst:  Swaziland - 32.2

Interestingly, Australia, with many of the deadliest creatures in the world has a life expectancy of 80.6

Oh, I must have answered the wrong question  I thought this was a serious question about the unhealthiest country.  I didn't realize that it was going to be a forum against overweight people, held by twinkies (thin blond things full of sugar and fluff and nothing else).

  2. In response to chengate, China does not exceed the US's life expectancy

  3. just the only one whose citizens can afford to use the health facilities which are available.

  4. no.

  5. Probably.  We are fat and unfit.

Many countries exceed our life expectancy, including China

  6. there's no doubt in my mind..

visit another country and you will be more convinced than ever..

i went to germany and paris and everyone walks a lot, and uses public transportation.. the fat people overseas are more than likely americans.. no joke

  7. Its probably somewhere like Ethiopia or Rwanda.

  8. Start by defining healthy or unhealthy - do you mean lack of disease or physically fit or nuitritionally well balanced or starving.    USA is probably less physically fit than some other countries while it is a lot less disease ridden than far more countries.   The average American is healthy and capable of doing their jobs and unlikely to encounter any disease that will harm them other than growing old or overweight.
