Is amusement park water rides clean?

I was just wondering because the water at hershey park smells and tastes weird (not that I was drinking it, it got on my lips) and there is so much of it like they can't run it through a filter or anything.

if it got on your lips, you obviously tasted it with your TONGUE. how else would you be able to taste it?

In my opinion yes. That's why i don't go to water parks. Yeah there is chlorine in it but i think people spit and pee in the water. But i think the water rides where you have to slide down this big slide is clean

they same thing happened to me when i was there  and it did taste funny but i did not get sick so im sure it is claen and they probally do run a fillter but u cant excpet the water to taste great and be chrystal clear

Because so many people ride the rides there, they load it with chlorine and other cleaning chemicals so it doesn't get infested with like diseases and things.

i have friends that lifeguard at another amusement park and they all say that the water is nasty.  must be a universal thing
