4% is about as high as it goes unless your going for five years.

be sure to check out how much the early withdrwal penalty is.

EDIT- Most importantly, make sure it's FDIC or NCUA insured.

I thought 4% sounded pretty good so I just looked at bankrate.com and the national average for 12 months is 3.54%

think thats bout as good as you will get---i just bought a 7 month--c.d. at 3.7
