Is an EU bachelor degree valid in the US as a bachelor degree?

i have a european bachelor degree in Education and i would love to teach in a preschool in the US. Some exchange programs told me i need to have a B.A. valid in the US. isnt it just the same?!

It depends on whether the institution granting you the degree is considered to be reputable and accreditable.  Generally speaking, yes, your EU degree should be valid.

Also, I'm not sure where you're from and thus if you're aware of this distinction, but "pre-school" here means day care.  (Some countries equate preschool with our kindergarten.)  The age range in preschool is infancy to 4 years old.

Also, generally speaking, preschool "teaching" doesn't require a college degree (if the thousands of 'help wanted' ads on Craigslist are any indication).  Pay is hourly, and in this major metropolitan area, it's about $10-$17/hour.
