Is an I.P adress important while getting internet on my psp?

And also, I typed in the code on the bottom of my router, but it says invalid wep adress. Help?

no it is not. once you have a wireless router and you know it's password, all you gotta do is go to network settings and search for that particular network. type in the password when it asks you to (the other steps you really don't have to do much, just press x). then test the connection. if it still doesn't work, it might mean that you made a mistake while entering the password or your connection is no good. try to connect using your computer, if it works perfectly, it definitely means you made a little mistake while entering the password. good luck!!!
