  1. Your age is completely irrelevant on a true IQ test and if you just took it on the internet than its probably nowhere near accurate anyway.

  2. Thats brilliant! I'm 17, and my IQ is lower than yours! You sound very smart well done :D

  3. It is good. Your age is irrelevant. Proper Intelligence Quotient (IQ) tests (as opposed to the unscientific ones in magazines and newspapers)  are related to age and education.

Special tests are designed to suit people from various backgrounds because intelligence is not related to "education". It is deemed to be an intrinsic feature of your brain.

By definition, the average IQ for any group of people is always 100. Anyone who has a score of 100 is of average intelligence for their age, gender and education. Average is just that - Average, it is not bad. Therefore, your score of 118 is Good.

Keep up the studying and exercise your brain, you don't want it to slip back. That can happen ... Duh!

  4. I believe that the IQ score takes age into consideration, so you're a reasonable amount above the average of 100.

  5. The IQ is based around a QUOTIENT.  It is a statistically generated metric.  If the average is not 100, then it is NOT an IQ test!  A proper IQ test is predicated on the average being 100, otherwise it is not relative and is not a particularly useful metric!

IQ tests used by online websites are usually a scam and do NOT measure IQ.  Having said that, a GENUINE IQ of 118 is good (assuming the test was valid in the first place!), since the average is NECESSARILY 100.

  6. Oh come on! It's obvious you want people to go, 'WOW! You're amazing for your age!'

Or maybe I'm just jealous, mine is about 130, i'm 18, so it's like average.
