Yes -- though how good it is depends on the test.  These tests take age into account -- so your score is adjusted for age.  An adult who answers exactly the same way as you would get a lower score.

Most IQ tests have an average score of 100 with a standard deviation of 15.  If this is true of your test, then that puts you two standard deviations above the normal -- meaning that you scored higher than about 98% of the population.

However, I know of other IQ tests that have a standard deviation of 20.  If this is the case for your test, then you scored better than about 93% of the population.  

Either way -- not too bad.

IQ can -- and does -- change through time.  The person who told you otherwise doesn't know what she is talking about.

If you got that score on an online test, it's not very likely your true score.  Online tests are notoriously NOT valid.  If you took a real test with a real psychologist or psychometrist, they probably wouldn't tell you a number score but would tell you "average" or "high average" or "above average" or whatever applies.

IQ is not age specific, you have the same IQ score no matter what age you are.
