Is an IQ of 135 a good IQ for a 14 year old?

I just took an online IQ test. I am fourteen years old and my result was a 135. Is that any good?

An IQ test is only relevant to your age; that is, an IQ test that does not take into account your age is invalid.

If you took an IQ test rated for age fourteen, your result is still better than average, average being 100.

IQ and SAT are good indicators of potential, not results.

Honestly, I wouldn't take IQ tests that seriously unless it's done professionally. Measuring intelligence by a series of questions is just absurd, if you ask me. However, it's the way we choose to do it.

Traditionally, 135 is far above average, especially for your age. Average IQ, nationwide, is from 85 to 115, so you could theoretically consider yourself a bright person.

Don't believe online IQ tests, as said by the people above.

You could take reliable ones, but it's just really hard to truly assess a person's real IQ. In any case, you should probably have an idea about your own intelligence.

But yes, 135 is above average, which means you're bright. (:

Don't believe online IQ tests, for they can be extremely bias.  If you really want your IQ tested, see your school counselor.  They should be able to put you in touch with somebody qualified to administer the exam.

The online IQ tests are a load of crock, and take them with a grain of salt.

you are being boastful mr.135. yes it is good bc the average iq for anybody of decent testing age is 100. i am sure that you are smart enough to know that, i too am fourteen and i have and iq of 130 which is slightly lower than yours
