Is an IQ of 145 good, for a 14 year old?

I took this online IQ test (I know there not reliable sometimes) and I got a result of 145. Can someone explain to me, what the average is, and if I'm above or below?

  1. I think 150 is supposed to be super-good.

    But it's online, ya know?

    I'm not a pro, but I'm guessing it's good. Try googling it. I'm surprised they didn't tell you if it was good or not. Did they give you a percentile? The higher the percentile, the better. Means you performed better than X amount of people.

  3. That is really high. 100 is like average. Below 70 is mentally handicapped. 130 is gifted. 150 is genius or something.

  4. If you really had that high a score, you wouldn't need to ask such a basic question.

    Even if you didn't know the answer off hand, you would be bright enough to look it up on google or whatever.

    So you must be bragging.

  5. An IQ test is a measure of intelligence for your age.  A score of 100 means you are average, below 100 is below average, and over 100 is above average.  So, a score of 145 is very good for any age.

  7. it says on there, you are clearly just trying to get a reaction of, " o wow you're a genius" stop bragging, no one cares if your smart, sounds kinda like you're a geek actually, try going outside and playing a sport, its fun, you may lear to like it.

  8. 100 is average. im 12 and i took one and mine was 122 i took mine off of www.Quizrocket.com all my friends say that was way more than theirs

  9. IQ is Intelligence Quotient and is obtained by dividing mental age by chronological age, then multiplying the result by 100, so by that definition, 100 is average and anything over 100 is above normal.
