Is an Impact at 3 mph the same as an Impact were the drive step on his gas instead his brake at 3 mph?

Is a pickup truck Impact at 3 mph by a pickup truck have the same damage. As a pickup truck stepping on his gas instead of his brake at 3 mph. Would the rpm going up instead of going down, make a difference. Thank you

Hitting a moving car at 3mph doubles the impact - for example - you are going or stopping at 3mph and the other other vehicle is going/stopping at 3mph - the impact will feel like a 6mph impact.  Hit a moving wall and your impact will be the same at 3mph.  If the driver is stepping on the gas them the mph is increases and the same rules will apply.

    Stepping on the brake makes the speed drop i.e 2mph then 1 mph then 0

    Stepping on the gas increases the speed etc....

  3. No because it would depend on what you hit on the first impact, if you walked into a wall at 3mph it would not be the same as getting hit by a car at 3mph.
