Is an Ipod touch worth it?

Question

I am thinking of getting an Ipod touch. I want a music player,and my house has Wi-fi so I can use the internet on it.

But what I really want to know,is is it worth it? We also have a laptop on our main floor,I have my own computer,and we have about 3 other computers around the house,so its not like I don't hae something to get on the internet with.

So,is it worth getting an Ipod touch for all the cool features,or should I just go with a nano and save money?

It's worth it if you want the portability of wi-fi.  Will you use it out and about?  Coffee shops or where ever?

I use mine and plan on taking it on vacation with me to check my email (have both yahoo and gmail set up on it).

I got a lot of free apps from the apps store and use them a lot, watch movies on it, music of course, etc.

If you only want a music player, then it's probably not for you.  I use the wi-fi features regularly, though, and doubt I could live without it now.  That's just me.

i have one, and i like it.  it's up to you.  the touch screen is awesome.  but, since you do have so many ohter computers....i'd say get a nano...it ISN'T worth it.

That really depends on how bad you really want it.

It was named the best mp3 device ever made, and it DOES have really cool features.

The internet is great for when you're on trips and want to access the internet and you don't have a laptop with you, however when you're at home, it's probably faster to use your regular computer to get on the internet.

As for the price, it is rather expensive. However, if you really want the touch I would just get it.

But i would probably get the Nano if you're very money conscious.
