Is it ok to feed them an alfalfa based pellet instead of a timothy based pellet?

  1. If your rabbit is over a year, you ideally want to feed a timothy based pellet. But you can feed alfalfa based in limited amounts, just make sure they eat mostly grass or oat hay and veggies.

    Rabbits can overeat and get fat on pellets so just watch them carefully. Obesity isn't good in most breeds.
