are we ready as a collective race, to be honoured by a visit ? or have we got a long way to go before we are worthy of being visited.

I have a theory, ever since the 1940s , E.T lifeforms have indeed visited Earth - but only to survey the ongoings down below. Clearly they've been anything but enthused by what they've seen thus far, in terms of our development as a species, our accomplishments as a collective race and the manner in which we are in harmonics with our surroundings.

Therefore, they keep going back - without making physical contact with us. Thats one theory i have amongst a few other plausible ones.

What would we need to change/do in order for E.T life to finally accept, we're ready for a 'meeting' with them ? Isn't a visit by them well over due ?
