Is an apartment lease legally binding if my cosigner did not sign

I am in the process of signing a lease for an apt. They waived the deposit and app. fees but not the administrative fee WHICH I HAVE NOT PAID YET. i need a cosigner to sign but they will not sign and i dont want the apt anyway. is the lease legally binding? do i have to live there?

  1. They probably won't let you live there without a co-signer.  Just tell them the co-signer said no.  That should end it.


  2. Well, the landlord COULD hold just you to it unless somewhere in the lease a cosigner is required.
