Is an ariel the same movement as a cartwheel?

Would you say im ready to try an ariel?

I can do a regular cartwheel. A strong fast one handed cartwheel.

And jump right in to a one hand cartwheel when running.

Yes, an aerial is the same movement as a cartwheel. The only difference, is in an aerial you don't use your hands. Running aerials is the best transition from one-handed to aerials.
