Atheists don't believe any supernatural beings, particularly gods (but including Satan) exist.

The "who" you're asking about is the same "who" as in "who created the world?". Since atheists don't believe there was any "who", we don't believe that question needs an answer. The creation of the world is better explained without the intervention of any gods.

Atheists only go to church if it's to attend a wedding, funeral or other formal occasion, or if the family and community they live in is so hostile to the idea of someone not having the same imaginary friend as them that they dare not openly announce their atheism.

I'm a Deist and don't believe in Jesus Christ. I believe the consciousness of the universe is God. Atheist do not believe in any Gods or Goddesses. Why would they believe in Satan? I grew up in a small community of Lutherans and Catholics.

I read books (SF, Fiction, NF, etc) written by Atheists growing up. Yes, the point of view is different. Yes, I would check out a person's point of view and I still do. Carl Sagan wasn't too big in our home.

I am still a Christian.

Most Atheists (IN U.S.A) were Christians, but for various reasons or reasoning decided to walk another path.

Faith or belief is voluntary. Peaceful co-existence is mandatory, however here you are free to debate 'em.

Atheists don't believe in magic, fairytales or jumping to conclusions- Atheists aren't afraid to admit that they don't have all the answers and not try and use some ancient bloodthirsty jewish war-god to fill in the answers when they are not apparent to us. Not all athiests are going to believe in evolution- though most will- but you can't attach particular beliefs to them- atheism is about NOT having a religion- not about having one that replaces another.

Some atheists, like me, were born into religious circumstances and had to claw our way out of indoctrination- some people are born and raised athiests and have never asked questions like the ones your asking in their lives- so it's going to be hard to pin down this- however there is one thing i'll clarify- the only people on this earth who give the devil any thought, power or lip service- are the christians and muslims who believe in him - compare statistics on the amount of satanists caught in america committing satanic rites (black masses with orgies, baby sacrifice all that stuff) versus the amount of say- catholic priests found raping children- on one hand you'll have around zero people ever found- on the other you'll have tens of thousands.
