  1. it's a vegetarian food but if you were vegan you wouldn't eat any products produced by animals.

  2. Yes, it is vegetarian. It's a great way to get proteins.

Vegetarian's just don't eat dead animals (except for fishes) but do eat their produces such as egg, milk, etc...

Vegans don't eat anything anything that moves including their produces. Period.

I Hope I answered your question.

  3. it is only vegetarian if it is eggplant

  4. egg is non-veg.

  5. Egg is basically not meat as it's not yet fertilized but its is also not a vege. i guess they cm in a seperate catagory (eggiterian i guess)

  6. it is not a vegan thing, but some vegetarians eat eggs still. milk too!

  7. Veg including non

  8. Eating an egg could be vegetarian or non-vegetarian.  If the egg is laid by a hen and it is non-fertilized, then it is vegetarian.  For eg  the egg we purchase from markets are mostly vegetarian as the hen is kept alone, but when the hen lays an egg after it is fertilized, then it is a non-vegetarian egg.

  9. I'm a vegetarian, and eat eggs, yea you can eat it, you need it to be healthy.

  10. Eggs are dairy products (it's not a vegetable), but vegetarians can eat it.

Also, i would like to note that the egg whites are healthy (avoid the yellow if you could for a healthier meal?)

  11. I am considered as veg only. The eggs we take from birds and milk we take from animals , so milk is non veg  or veg?  Sure its veg only. But we should take whether veg or non-veg, because to maintain good health know.

  12. well the answer is: yes its vegetarian, i personally dont like eggs (but i use them when i bake) so anyway vegans dont eat eggs... so your safe

  13. its a vegiterian.

if v eat any animal flesh its not a vegeterian

    its a non vegiterian.

but if v eat the animal products such as

    milk,egg etc its a vegiterian.

  14. There are sevral types of answers to your question.

There is a theory that maybe country eggs are nonveg cos they are fertilised eggs and one in farm are veg cos they are unfertilized.

"Vegans" will not eat anything that comes from an animal, which includes, milk, eggs, cheese and butter etc....?

"Ovolacto" vegetarians consider such animal related foods acceptable, but still will not eat meat.

Then there are those vegetarians who will eat fish, poultry and their bi products but not any other meat.

So in response I'd have to say that there is not any clear definition as to whether an egg constitutes vegetarianism or not.

  15. yes vegetarians can eat eggs, it vegans who do not

  16. As I understand it, vegans cannot eat ANY food products that have come from any animal, in any way, shape or form....

  17. yes a vegetarian eats egg but a vegan doesnt

  18. according to the recent study, egg comes under the category og veg but few people still consider it non veg!!!

  19. egg is a non veg

  20. yuk no way

  21. Vegetarians can eat eggs, just not meat.

A VEGAN doesnt, they eat no animal product.

  22. In eggs there are 2 types...

    1 is fertilised egg

2 is vice versa(mechanised)i.e. before fertilisation takes place

    1 is non-veg

    2 is veg

    <Hope that helps>

  23. egg is vegetarian. egg is known as complete food ,still it lack some element like iron etc.egg contain protein which is easily absorbed by our stomach.vegan avoid egg eating not vegetarian.egg is good for health.

  24. Eggs are vegetarian, but not vegan. (Vegetarians don't eat animal flesh, but they eat animal products such as milk and eggs. Vegans don't eat animal flesh or animal products.)

Many people choose to avoid eggs because of the cruelty involved: http://www.chooseveg.com/eggs.asp

  25. eggs are usually commercially produced so chicken eggs intended for human consumption are unfertilized, since the laying hens are kept without roosters.

there is no developing embryo in commercially manufactured eggs, so they are vegetarian.

however, many cultures still abstain from eating eggs because chickens are often mistreated in the process and because eggs have the potential to be a chicken, although that possibility is ruled out by manufacturers.

i'm vegetarian, and i eat eggs in cakes/cookies, but not scrambled eggs and such. i'm just not very fond of them.
