  1. No, as long as you don't let him go too far from home.

  2. If you can handle it (which I think you can) go for it. I wouldn't stop til you can't go no more.

  3. noopeeee:]

it's perfect you'll be really in shape when your older

    ;]

  4. nope. hour is about right. i know some 14 year olds that train for a few (3-4) hours on their bikes.

  5. not at all. a lot of 14 year olds get more exercise than that riding bikes, playing sports, skateboarding, and other activities.

  6. nope.

    why would you think tht??

  7. No.

  8. ROFL, no!

  9. Nah. You're just doing yourself an immense favor.

    Keep it up.

  10. Why would it be ?

  11. Nope, but why isn't this kid outside ... on a real bike .... with you (you could use a little excercise too, right?) ... or running, playing a team sport. Unless you are in far northern Finland where it may already be getting dark 24/7 get the kid outside playing.

Alternatively connect the exercise bike to a generator and use it to power the TV and computer.

  12. nope. =]

    good luck & God bless

  13. no absolutely not .

think about it !  how many hours do kids ride their bikes , my 6 year old rides every day for a few hours, and my 15 year old rides his bike back and fourth from school (about 5 miles ) .

    :)

  14. What the h**l is a 14 y.o. kid doing on an exercise bike instead of a real bike? An hour is nothing. I used to do that to spend all day swimming or playing rugby. At least they are exercising. They should be doing more and eating like a horse at that age. As long as they are looking after themselves, that is the main thing.

  15. nope.  it's just right :)

  16. No. You will have the most stamina in your teens so make the most of it while you can.

  17. No i did a 1 hour gym session (cardio) when i was 14/15 twice a week and i was in brilliant shape, and the fittest in my rugby team!

If you go to a gym use other machines, such as the cross trainer, rower and stepper (they were best for me), if not do 10-15 minute periods, which are more intense, and have a max 5 minute rest between them (this is what i am currently doing myself)

    Good luck

  18. No. When I was that age I used to ride my bike outside for most of the day. 1 hour on an exercise bike is good. It's better than sitting on the couch playing video games. lol :-)

  19. No it is OK. It would do you a lot more good to ride a real bike out in the open and then you would get a variation on pace due to hills, inclines etc. You would also benefit from fresh air in the lungs which will assist your body to cope with the exercise.

  20. h**l no.  If anything, why is the 14 year old bothering with an exercise bike?  Get them a cycle, a water bottle and, if needed, an ordinance map for your area and kick them out for the day (Mobile phone optional).  Even better, join them.

    Luck
