Is an iQ score of 106 good for a 12 year old?

Is a iQ score of 106 better then what a normal 12 year old would get? if yes how much better would it be?

IQ tests are standardized for the age that they are testing. That is, your IQ doesn't grow as you get older (although you might get better at taking IQ tests!). They give different tests to different ages.

The average IQ for any age is 100.  That is how they standardize the tests.  So an IQ of 106 is very average.  It will be better than some and worse than some.
