Is an iq of 124 good for a 12 year old?

Well I took a different iq test and this time I actually tried to get them right and my score said that I had an iq of 124. Is that good for a 12 year old?

You call yourself a confused drama queen but you've got lots of smarts going on inside your pretty li'l head.  Of course, IQ tests differ from one age group to another, but if you took an adolescent test and scored 124, you're smarter than the average Jill!

The way scoring for an IQ test works is it is partly based on age. If the test asked how old you were and you told them your correct age, than 124 might be your real IQ.

However, some people question the way IQ tests are put together, and say it might not reflect how smart you are accurately, so your score might be higher or lower than your level of intelligence.

Anyway, the average person has an IQ of 100, so, yes, 124 is a good IQ.

iq tests really are only accurate for toddlers

but 124 is pretty good

Don't become too obsessed with your IQ anyway. It doesn't matter that much in the long run.
