Is an open adoption easy to get meaning are there lots of people out there willing to do this?

I am currently pregnant with twins and i can only handle one child. I am young and ready for a child but i did not count on me geting pregnant with twins.

Anyhow is it hard to find a couple willing to do an open adoption?

I know that people do participate in open adoptions all the time. I don't think it's hard, especially because so many couples want a newborn baby.

Please tell me you aren't keeping one and giving one away...that would be REALLY terrible......seriously, either keep them both or give them both up...I'm an adoption social worker and those children have been together since conception..to split them up now would be selfish and cruel.

Most couples wanting to adopt a baby are so eager they will agree to anything you say..there are degrees of openness though..some are photos and calls only, some are letters and photos only...some are completely open.

Please be sure in your choice before you hold hopes out to some couple out there...that is so cruel and horrible.

Also, find an agency that will work with you...agencies make money on adoptions (not a lot but they do)......their interest is best served if you give your children up.  Make sure you have a counselor that will work with you..I'd advise a crisis pregnancy center...you need someone to support you and help you through all your options without any motives......
