Is an unexpired Driver's License with a hole punched in it valid as ID?

No. A hole in any license or identification card makes it invalid and it cannot be used for buying age restricted items,travel,driving, or getting into clubs/bars. The DMV punches the holes in it when it is no longer valid, such as when you get a new drivers license. It does not matter where the hole is, but the DMV usually punches it where the date of birth and expiration date are. Even if you punch the hole in it yourself, it makes it invalid. I work in a place where we sell age restricted items and have taken training for checking ID's. It is not valid.
