Encarta Encyclopedia claims that:

"Persons who profess or advocate anarchism are denied admission to the United States by a federal law enacted in 1902".

Is this true? What about Americans who currently live in America?

  1. if it was then all libs would be in jail.

  2. yes. try and start a melee anywhere in the USA. you'll get clubbed with the anti anarchy stick real quick.

  3. sure is.

they would call out the National Guard to eradicate the threat.

many would like a revolt but it cannot prevail.

  4. Of course silly!

  5. Well, let's see.  If you were a true anarchist you probably wouldn't pay your taxes.  So yes, they'd come and get you sooner or later.

  6. McCain '08- you should actually learn what terms mean before commenting on them.  Liberals like bigger governments, anarchists want no government.  The 2 political philosophies could not be further apart!!!  Stick to calling liberals "communists," which is still NOTHING like liberalism, but it is a LITTLE closer than anarchism is.

To answer the question, though, the belief itself is not against the law, but since anarchists do not recognize the validity of the state, they will probably do something that is illegal (such as not pay their taxes, like the previous answer said.)

  7. There is a huge difference in the law regarding non US citizens applying for citizenship and those who are already US citizens. If you were born in the US, then there is no possible way for the government to revoke your citizenship, even if you committed a major crime.
