Well, the society doesn't have its own will - the people in it have wills - so when we say "free society" we mean "society of free people," don't we?

And that implies free and equal association, i.e. anarchism, doesn't it?

You might say that one society is partly free, or that one society is more free than another society, but it's not really free unless it's free.

what is a free society? its kinda hard to live with out any laws, government or just anyone above you... in communism everyone is equal in the economy, but it will never happen, people are to greedy, the poor too poor, the rich too rich

I would say so. Noam Chomsky, a political intellectual, is an anarchist. Maybe humans aren't evolved enough to have a government. It seems that most of government leaders are all just c**p. Men and women leaders can't be trusted and can't be honest.

You know what they say...free your mind and the rest will follow. I think we can never achieve anarchy until people are able to free their minds from propaganda and brainwashing. I don't think it works the other way around.

Nobody is controlling you. The system is controlled by everybody. I'm sure even anarchists who think they're so evolved do more to oppress people than they realize.

No.  It would give us the freedom to do pretty well whatever we want, but it would also remove certain freedoms that are only provided by the social contract.  For example, we would be free to steal from other people, but consequently we would lose the freedom to own property since others would be free to steal from us.

No.  Anarchy is a dumb idea.  Yeah, lets get rid of all government and any type of organized social structure. I'm sure that will work out well.  First thing tons of people would do is go loot and steal.  Lets call the police? OH wait, we got rid of all that type of oppression.
