Is anatomy/physiology a hard class?

what skills do you need to succeed in it and what kinds of things will you be learning

is it remembering notes and parts of the body?

  1. Anatomy is somewhat conceptual, but it is mostly memory work.  It does not require knowledge of any other science at least at the gross anatomical level.  At the microscopic level, anatomy requires more general knowledge about cells and their function.

    Physiology requires a bit of chemistry or a lot of chemistry depending on the level at which you study.  It also helps to have physics before physiology.  It has much less memory work than anatomy.

    Personally, I liked the physiology a lot more than the anatomy, but I have had many courses in both subjects.


  2. Anatomy and Physiology is traditionally one of the "bear" courses in undergraduate school.  Yeah, it's a lot of work.
