Is andy roddick in the french open this year?

i went to the frenchopen.com and i didn't c roddick's name in any bracket or draw did he pull out of the tournament?

no, he retired due to an injured shoulder

no, he is not going to be there this year. he pulled out due to shoulder and back injury. this is the same problem that he had in rome that he had to retire at the semis.  we will surely miss him at the RG even if we know he is lucky to get into the third or fourth round.

nope, he cited shoulder and back injury.  yeah, like he is hurt.  he just doesn't want to be embarrassed again.  last year, none of the american men made it past round one.  that's why they don't like the clay because they can't adapt to it.  james blake just made it past round 1 yesterday so it looks like the american men already did better than last year....one of them at least.  it won't be long before blake surpasses roddick as the number one american.

yeah I've seeing many people say it's because he didn't want to waste time loosing in an early round and just prepare for grass. Well it better be worth it and we should see him in the Semis of the upcoming tourney that Nadal will be winning
