  1. Not yet, as far as I am aware.

It is already too late, though.

Research into the for profit G_d tool of creation has resulted in patent ownership of hundreds of genes, including those of persons. Eventually sold on as a franchise, the golden egg model of increasing returns on investment will accelerate loss of value throughout the Earth's living diversity, I predict.

We weren't able to vote on deployments directly, either. That adventure in the land  of Iraq has cost us all too much, and began with lies spoken as truths.

  2. Doesn't appear to be ........here is some history on animal cloning, the process and legislation but at no time is voting brought into it except in Congress that I can find.

    Hope this helps some

  3. we don't vote on anything worth anything

  4. vote what good would that do when the whole of the system is corrupt.

  5. Hmmm...

I guess you would have to make a case that something is wrong with it and it's hurting the people or the animals themselves...

Otherwise, it's just business as usual... (or rather, UNusual...)

  6. Regulatory issues are not put to a public referendum in the US.

The issue was open for public comment and you may always send your comments on issues like this to the Department of Agriculture, Food and Drug Administration or other Federal agencies.

This right is guaranteed to you by the First Amendment right to "petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

BTW, many of the regulations in Canada and the EU are based more on trade policy than food safety.  They are a means to prevent US imports of meat which compete with their products.
