Yes.  There is a group of bikers that meets in front of Amma Naana, just opposite the Hotel Park Sheraton, every Saturday morning around 6 am.  

TI Cycles conducts bike expeditions on the East Coast Road and it is organised well, they say - cycles, first aid, water, help along the way, et al.

If you are good with running, please check out Chennai runners.com and join the group.. Save Monday, we run every day and the schedule is posted through a mail on Google  groups.  You are welcome.  I am a member of the runners Group.  And I can tell you, running is greater fun than biking...
