Question:

Is anti-glare on glasses worth it?

I'm getting new glasses (with black plastic frames) and I was wondering if it was worth it to get the anti-glare treatment. I know it helps with appearance, but I also heard that it peels unevenly and is difficult to maintain.

  1. like it on my glasses. Telfon is the one that I have... The reason I got them is because it has a two year warranty on them, or if anything happens to the lenses then I get them replaced for free.

I am not sure where you are getting them done at but places like

    Target

    Sear

    Lens Crafter

    NationWide etc...

Offer such products but will not give you that of warrtany. I would say to talk to your officee where you are going to get your glasses and ask ab out the warranty.

The coating is good for night driving it makes the light actual light instead of long light.

I think everyone has their own option, it is kinda hard to keep your glasses clean with theses coastings

  2. I used to get anti-glare because: I drive at night, in bright sunlight, use a computer a lot and the lights glare.  But, since I got contacts and use glasses at home I do not get anti-glare.  I do wear my glasses outside on days I can not wear contacts and I got used to having some glare.  After using both, I prefer not to get anti-glare.

  3. I have anti- glare on my glasses and i really don't like it.  It's hard to clean and it gets more smudges easily. (I use a very good eye glass cleaner for it to)

my next pair of glasses are definitely going to NOT have it..
