Question:

Is any one else tired of this ridiculous partisanship and poorly informed campaigners?

It seems like nearly every person I've talked to, and most of the questions on here, are really poorly informed and only try to smear their opposing candidate of choice with either quotes that are taken out of context or with outright lies. I blame the negative ads from both sides. Is anyone else tired of the ridiculous claims and misinformation? Doesn't this really just cultivate bad voters? Wouldn't we really prefer well informed, rational voters deciding who should run the country?

  1. Shut up and let us bicker! It's the American way lol :P

  2. Yes.

I wish people would do their own research and find out the facts instead of just buying their candidate's propaganda.

I began this year by *wanting* to be for Obama.  After all, he's from right here in my back yard.  But after doing my due diligence on the candidates, their histories and their motives, I had to change my mind.

Here's to hoping that others do their own research, too!

  3. Negative ads have little to nothing to do with misinformed voters.  People who don't do research is the problem.  Negative ads or any ads that pique their interest should drive them to find out more about the candidates....not to believe one line blindly.

  4. Yes.

    I agree completely.

Unfortunately, rational thinking is being demonized.

Anti-intellectualism is being pushed as partisan.

  5. Since when was the majority of American voters well-informed and rational.
