I enjoy camping in a lot of forms. The tent is the best but RVs is also fun. I have noticed that in the RV you can get bogged down with too much stuff.

We have a 4x4 pickup with a camper on it. We usually don't go to RV parks at all but out in the boonies or to state parks. As you get older, a real bed becomes a must and sleeping on the ground is torture to me. I love the outdoors and often go camping in the winter too. Nothing is better then waking up in a warm bed, then going outside for some skiing. So there is all kinds of camping and we do it all in our camper.

yep.....  my ex is into R V's but I am not. I camp I rough it I become mano ymano in the forrest or on the mountaintop I camp hike fish cook clean sing party and sleep on a sleeping bag.... I don't R V.

if it isn't a tent it isn't real camping but RV's are nice and serve a purpose......they are not for me

Anyone who says that it's not camping unless it's in a tent is wrong.  I used to say that myself.  Camping is about enjoying the great outdoors, communing with nature, and enjoying the solitude.  We used to tent camp all the time, but have recently started camping with a class B motor home (conversion van).  We still spend the majority of our time outdoors, but it is very nice to wake up without all the aches and pains from sleeping on the ground.  We refuse to camp in any of the RV parks.  It's all in your state of mind.

Yes!  Over the years I have tried different types of camping, and liked them all.  Its all about being "in the wild", whether sleeping under the stars, being in a tent, or being in an RV.  At my age now, I'm spoiled.  I like my comfort when it comes to sleeping, and I love my showers!  I also don't like to use public bathroom facilities, nor do I care for the thought of a black bear, coyote or anything else wild coming in for a visit, so yes, an RV is my choice.
