  1. Most of us are, but we have not made enough other choices in order to state we are no longer going to just sit back and take it any longer. My next car will hopefully be one that will use fuel from corn or an electric hybrid but I like many other either do not have the finances to purchase on of these vehicles or sit back in a false hope that things will just sort of resolve them self. Until I can come up with a way to try something different, I don't have much choice except to take things as they are and not complain about things beyond my control alone.  Yes while I go about daily life dependent upon gasoline fuel for transportation, my choice of location for living appears to be making a change. We will probably be moving after Christmas in order to live closer to my husbands work and my children's school as my current situation is rather unfeasible.

  2. Quit bitching and do something productive.  Buy a more efficient car, set up a carpool, whatever.  Whining about it isn't going to do anything.

  3. I drive 80 miles a day just to get to work. I chose this for the clean air and water I will enjoy instead of living in the city. I am mad about the prices going up when it doesn't cost any more to make it than it did 4 years ago. But since they can blame us for shaking things up in oil country they can raise the prices to punish us. Unsteady conditions by butt. If we were oil sufficient on our own the gov. would probably still charge us eastern oil prices so we will never win and we can thank the man for that.

  4. yeah. it gets aggravating after awhile. yes i live five-ten miles away from work. but the only one with a car out of my friends. and im very sociable. so i pick them up and take them home all the time. and they live about fifteen miles away. yes thats not alot, but it uses up alot of my gas for sum reason.  oh! bc i have to go thru the city to get to them! all them stupid traffic lights! i wish there was sumthing we could do to bring the prices down.

  5. as much as it annoys me I have not given up my driving. I do not smoke or drink so that money is used for gas.

  6. Yes I'm mad as h**l,but maybe this is just what this country needs to go a little greener

  7. I have to commute to work regardless of the price of gas... so I just stopped paying attention at the pump..

  8. IRRATE I think it the correct anwser. If there wasn't a Republican oil tycoon President than our gas prices would be much lower. Its a shame because as it stands there is PLENTY of oil to go around without letting profiteering groups make money off us. Its kuckies.

  9. not really, gas is still cheaper then a gallon of milk.

Instead of chenging where u live why dont your change to a car that get really good milage.  some of the new ones can get 40 MPG

  10. I for one am mad!!!!!!!!
