Admitingly I'm not overly worried. But is that going to be our down fall, people not careing or careing but still not doing anything about it.

And I know I'm not perfect because I'm still using electicity to be on my comp. which is most likely made by burning fossil fuels, putting more CO2 and (I think) sulfur dioxide in the air. Helping along the greenhouse effect and helping acid rain, which is destroying forests and then again not helping with the whole greenhouse thing.

Does anyone else think (not worry, unless you do?) about these things or is it just me?

I am so worried because half of America doesn't even believe in global warming and only half the people that do are doing something about it. And, with the rate this is going, our air wont be breathable by 2050.  And we aren't even doing anything about it!  Its so frustrating.

Sure.  Plenty of people, to varying degrees, about varying issues.

But we can solve them all, if we work at it.  That's the proper response, not just sitting around worrying.

And you don't have to give up everything like your computer.  There are plenty of ways to help, and plenty of websites that tell you how.  Do the things that make sense to you, and don't worry about the ones that seem too hard.

Everyone seems to be torn between two completely different sides.  Some people believe in it, and some people think it's a hoax.  Personally, I believe in it and I do worry about it.  I've done a lot of research and written a lot of papers and articles about global warming and it's effects, and it's kind of scary.  I can't stand when people just say it's a hoax and they don't know what they're talking about.  Everyone is too concerned over whether we're contributing or not, not the reality of it happening.  It's happening, and anyone who doesn't believe it's happening is kind of dumb ( sorry.)  Because we know it's happening.  We have scientific proof that the Earth is getting warmer and warmer at a faster rate then ever before, and that rate is continually increasing.  Whether we're making it happen or not isn't the biggest concern anymore, if it's our fault, then the damage has been done.  Just look at all the effects global warming has had so far.  The summers are hotter and drier, the winters are colder, the hurricanes are more frequent and more severe, tornadoes are coming in bigger loads.  The impact on the ecosystem is series too, countless species could be wiped out because of the climate change.  

The hole in the ozone layer isn't as big as a concern because the ozone regenerates itself.  The greenhouse effect will never end because we've come too far into industrialism to turn back.  We have cars that release a lot of emissions, we have factories that do the same.  That's how we live, that's how the world runs.  I'm all for cuts on emissions, hydrogen powered cars and emission cuts on factories.  Fossil fuels are running out.  We use so much coal, and 65% of the coal is burned as waste, we don't even use all of it.  And at the rate we're going we only have 164 years left of it, and the number will only get smaller and smaller because we keep using more and more.  We might be out of petroleum by 2039 at our current consumption rate.  We need to look more into alternative fuels and then actually use them.

The hole in the ozone layer is natural . The ozone layer is formed where the solar winds collide with the earth's magnetic field. The hole happens at the poles where the magnetic field converges.

The green house gas is not there, The plants have taken care of the CO2 which they need to live.

Another  surprise ,we will never run out of fossil fuel as the plants take in the CO2 and give us back the O2 ,but keeps the C. When the plant leaves die the earth breaks down the leaves into oil & gas ...

NO- the hole expands and contracts with the seasons -- the aerosols causing it were removed several decades ago.

NO- I am a skeptic and not yet convinced

Yes- Our air here in the USA is much cleaner than previous decades due to better cars-- and other remediation-- in another 5-10 years as the older fleet of cars die off-- cars will have virtually ZERO impact.

Yes- The USA has many laws in place to combat land pollution and spends MILLIONS of dollars every year to clean up polluted areas-- Lake Michigan is an example of the progress we have made over the last 3 decades

NO- urbanization is actually a solution to the suburban commuting issue and urban sprawl.

dont worry your not the only one . ive thought about it too . it agrivates me how people dont care that the polar bears are dying cuz of us and that the end of the world > wich is pretty much gonna happen if we keep this up < is gonna happen and when it does THATS when people start bashing themselves .

honestly, i am not all that worried. the planet will correct what is wrong with it. that is why there have been cycles of ice ages and warm periods. the green house effect there isn't much we can do, since the major green house gas is water vapor not carbon dioxide. though we can do our part to reduce carbon dioxide by not driving as much and turning off our lights when we leave the house/room for long periods of time. urbanization can actually have positive effects on global climate change with the exception of the urban heat island effect (where the sidewalks and other such radiators make it warmer than it should be) by allowing more people to use mass transportation and the ability to walk places instead of driving. now there are some urban areas like the Dallas Fort Worth area that it can be a problem because there is so much urban sprawl that there is little choice but to drive from place to place.

Edit: I would like to see your proof that the earth is warming at a much faster rate and the fossil fuels are running out. cause according to petroleum geologists at the University of Oklahoma that is simply not true about the fossil fuels.

There's no worry because it's a lot of disinformation.  Science contradicts itself every 30 years or so.
