Is any part of the United States located in the tropics?

Part of Hawaii is tropical, and it is the only US state within the tropics.

US Territories within the tropics include: Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Wake Atoll (US Claims on Wake Atoll are disputed by the Republic of the Marshall Islands). I'm having trouble finding the right map to confirm, so Midway Island might be bordering on the tropics as well, but I think it's just outside the tropic of cancer.

The US also has several uninhabited territories in the tropics used for things like airfields and wildlife reserves, etc. These include: Baker Island, Howland Island, Jarvis Island, the Johnston Atoll, Kingman Reef.

The Petrel islands and the Serenilla Bank in the western Caribbean, I think, are in the tropics, and are the subject of ridiculously complicated claim disputes between the US, Colombia, Nicaragua, and possibly Honduras.

And finally Navassa Island is an tiny uninhabited island off the coast of Haiti, which is the subject of a claim dispute between the US and Haiti.

Of course, US law considers all American Embassies to be American soil as well, and I believe we have at least one of those in almost every foreign country in the tropics as well.

Yes, Puerto Rico is past the Tropic of Cancer.  I don't know of anything in the Arctic.
