  1. To meet what you need, you need a 60Hz into 50 Hz generator. The simple and older technology is a piece of AC motor that runs 60Hz power,it turns other AC 50 Hz AC generator at the same time to generate 50Hz power output.  Nowaday using electronic switching power convertor to change frequency.

  2. If you look at your info plate on your appliance, you'll see that many will operate okay on 50 or 60 Hz.  However, clocks and other frequency sensitive devices will run slower if they were designed for 60 Hz but are run on 50 Hz (or faster if the other way around).

  3. First response is correct.  If you MUST have 50 hz, you will need a motor-generator set.  But a lot of equipment designed for 50 hz will work satisfactorily on 60.

  4. No. Transformers are fairly simple devices that increase or decrease voltage and current, but not frequency.

  5. Transformers are only made for voltages.

There are ones that transform frequency, but they are not for househiold or personal use since the cost is in the thousands of $$$ due to the technology required
