  1. Not all televisions are digital ready yet, although they will all be soon.  So just to be save it is best to ask before buying in store.

  2. The TV you linked to only has an analog tuner and an SD analog video input, so it is not "Digital Ready" by anyone's definition. If you want to watch digital TV signals with it you will need an external video source like a converter box, digital cable box, or satellite receiver.

The problem with your question is that meaning of "Digital Ready" is unclear. Some people would say that a TV that can accept digital video inputs is "digital ready", even if it doesn't have a digital tuner. These were common a few years ago when digital tuners were more expensive.

All HDTVs have a least an ATSC digital tuner. Almost all have a QAM cable digital tuner as well.

All TVs manufactured for the US market after 2/2007 are required to at least have an ATSC over the air digital tuner. Almost all have a QAM cable digital tuner as well. There are cheap ones that do not have HD video inputs; this is important if you are playing newer video games.

A related marketing term is "HD Ready"; sounds good doesn't it? But it means that the TV does not have a digital tuner built into it! All it means is that an accept and display a digital HD video signal from something else.
